‘ Trail Maintenance is Important’

‘Gene Maffit of the South Sioux City Parks Department recently reported to the Foundation that the City of South Sioux City has just replaced 44 panels of concrete on the trail around Crystal Cove Lake as part of the communities ongoing commitment to maintaining its trails. Thank you City of South Sioux City for investing in the upkeep of your trails.’

‘ Our communities need citizen input – if you notice trails needing repair or replacement don’t complain silently. Instead call the appropriate community department and let them know. Recently the foundation reported an area of the Singing Hills Trail in Sioux City between Lewis Blvd and Harbor Drive that needed a good cleaning and we are pleased to report that the City of Sioux City promptly remedied that situation.”
